summer of ‘76 framed print
Shag’s Summer of '76 moves away from the carefree and embraces a more grungy, urban aesthetic. With deep red tones and graffiti-like elements, this artwork evokes a gritty yet vibrant summer scene. The bold characters and retro vibes typical of Shag’s style are mixed with an edgier feel, giving the piece a raw, street-art influence.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Shag, aka Josh Agle, is a super cool American designer, painter and illustrator. His style is inspired by the rad commercial illustrations from the 1950s and 1960s. And get this, "Shag" is actually a nickname he came up with using the last two letters of his first name and the first two letters of his last name. He's been signing his paintings SHAG since 1987. Shag's art is like stepping into a time machine and getting a taste of that retro vibe.
